You can keep this tire changer flush against the wall thanks to its swing-arm design and the fact that it doesn’t tilt back. The R980AT is also sporting a 30” clamping ability. It also features a high-torque electric turntable which will efficiently spin tires to seat or remove beads.

With reverse-direction foot pedal controls, you’ll be in total control of your tire changing operation. The turntable is the only electrical component in the tire changer (everything else is air-powered), and it requires little to no support or maintenance over time.

Don’t let tough sidewalls give you trouble. A traveling drop-center tool makes changing tires as easy as can be. Ranger tire changers offer increased safety and efficiency, and the drop-center tool is necessary to the whole operation. A swing-in disc can also help loosen beads by using pneumatic power that won’t accidentally damage your tires.

If you’re looking for more accurate measuring without digital frills, add-ons, and increased body size, then the DST30P is the wheel balancer for you. It’s the cost-effective hybrid which offers some of the most precise readings you’ll ever get out of a wheel balancer.

The DST30P is capable of accurately and efficiently calibrating wheel and tire configurations. This wheel balancer can handle wheels up to 30” in diameter. The DST30P utilizes its Direct-Axis drive system to keep running smoothly over time. It features a single belt which connects the motor and unbalance sensor, thereby eliminating most maintenance costs during your wheel balancer’s many years of service. The highly visible LED displays show you exactly where to place the weights in seconds flat. The indicators let you see weight positions when the mounted wheel is rolled top-dead-center.

The Direct-Axis drive system helps ensure that the DST30P keeps running smoothly over time. A single belt connects the motor and unbalance sensor, which eliminates most maintenance costs during your wheel balancer’s many years of service.

Single-chip circuit board architecture upgrades performance and reliability over multi-chip installations, (e.g., latency reductions, substantial boost in device throughout). A quick, dedicated hyper transport protocol allows data to communicate with the micro-processor much faster than it would otherwise be possible. The single-chip boards also use less power and can better dissipate heat.

Dual-component piezoelectric quartz load sensors and a digital rotation encoder measure longitudinal, transversal, and shear effects for multi-directional force unbalance detection. The piezoelectric force sensors are some of the most sensitive that Ranger has ever developed, and they offer superior stability and fatigue resistance for unlimited service life with your wheel balancer. High-rigidity quartz crystal sensors offer high frequency detection in all three measured directions.

Ranger has taken the touch-pad display panel on the DST-2420-wheel balancer and raised it up, tower-style, for the DST30P. This design improvement offers more flexibility in how you work. It's extended, fully adjustable display avoids the problem of glare that can shroud readouts on the screen, and it’ll ensure that differently abled operators will enjoy a more ergonomic experience as they calibrate tire and wheel configurations.

RL-8500

The high-quality RL-8500 combination brake lathe utilizes independent DC servo motors to control the cross-feed and spindle feed drives, thereby eliminating the need for complex mechanical gear boxes and transmissions that you’ll normally find on mechanically-driven brake lathes.

The adjustable speed settings allow you to quickly rough-cut rotors or slowly give them a fine, smooth cut. An infinitely adjustable spindle-feed gear box provides variable speed settings, providing finish cuts which meet or exceed factory specs. Ranger’s negative rake tooling yields one-pass finish cuts every time, and the standard 1” arbor provides you with a multitude of tooling and adapter choices from either Ranger or other aftermarket suppliers.

Ranger has included a sturdy steel work bench at no additional charge. It also comes with large stool storage backboards so all of your adapters can hang within arms’ reach. There is also a durable multi-compartment toolbox which provides storage for all adapters and accessories. Keep your work area clean and safe with the large chip “catch” funnel and chip bin.
